There has been a veterinary practice on the Coleshill road site in Hodge Hill since approximately 1960 when Hector Hamilton MRCVS started a veterinary practice.
In 1980 Tony and Louise Harrington MRCVS’s bought the practice and in 1988 expanded the practice by adding the Coleshill branch. Both Tony and Louise have now retired from full time veterinary practice and the current practice partners are Fintan Farrelly and Catherine Morgan.
In January 2009 the Hodge Hill practice underwent major refurbishment to ensure we continue to offer the highest standards of health care.
Our last RCVS Practice Standards Scheme inspection was in October 2017. We were inspected to General Practice Standards at our Hodge Hill surgery and to Core Standards at our Coleshill Surgery.
Both of the sites were subject to a rigorous inspection by an RCVS appointed veterinary surgeon, who looked at all aspects of the operation of the practice, including staff qualifications and ongoing education, clinical governance and standards of care, out of hours availability and patient care, in-patient and out-patient facilities, diagnostic equipment, pharmacy procedures and all aspects of health and safety.
